Join us on Thursday July 20 for an open mic and open poetry slam! We’re taking a break in August, so make sure you come out to this one!

Open mic is open to all genres. Let’s hear your songs, prose, stories, poems, rants, and ravings! You’ve got 4-5 minutes on the mic, please be considerate and mindful of time. Think: 1 long poem or 1 song, or 2 short poems.

Poets in the slam should have at least 2 poems ready to perform. They can be memorized or read off a phone, tablet, or notebook/paper. Judges are randomly chosen from the audience, and will give scores from 1-10. First place winner gets a cash prize.
