Admission is suggested donation of $5-10 or pay what you can. No one turned away for lack of funds

The open mic is open to artists of all genres and all ages. Bring your poems, songs, stories, flash fiction, music, prose—and your friends! You’ll have 4-5 minutes max on the mic: please be considerate of time so we can hear from everyone!

Maya Lehrer is a trans organizer, teacher, poet, and popular educator born and raised in Rhode Island. Her work ranges from agitation and information to abstract musings on the body. Her interests lie in uncovering the contradictions of capitalism and the way we experience ourselves within it, working toward a poetry of collective future for the people.
